General Practitioner Committee: Focus on travel immunisations update
Revised guidance on travel immunisations from the General Practitioner Committee has been published. Information on hepatitis B (single agent) vaccine provision as either a NHS or private service has been updated. Practices should consider Local Medical Committee policy regarding charging for hepatitis B vaccine.
This document reminds providers that there is no General Medical Services funding of hepatitis B vaccine for travel purposes.
